Alexey Bashkatov – Legal Counsel
A graduate of St Petersburg State University’s Faculty of law, Alexey Bashkatov qualified as a lawyer in 1998 and joined Femida Ltd as a paralegal. Since his qualification he has provided legal counsel to Lestorgresurs and Bumex Ltd. His experience includes Russian civil, corporate and anti-monopoly law as well as acquisitions and mergers, lease transactions and legal audits. He has researched and drafted memoranda encompassing various aspects of Russian civil, corporate, labour and international law. Alexey has provided Mayfair Investments with legal guidance on a consultancy basis since 2005 and in 2008 joined the team as their dedicated legal counsel.
